Fundraiser for Keur Khaleyi
On Saturday March 26, 2011 from 8pm - 12:00 am join us to dance the night away with Keur khaleyi which means "house of the children" in Wolof (native language of Senegal West Africa).
When we dance -- we are all children at heart.
Keur Khaleyi dance company supports the community with children and adult classes in the West African dance tradition. This fundraiser is to help with funds for our Summer showcase that will premier some of Baltimore's talented African dancers and drummers.
Dance classes are held every Tuesday and Saturday at the Eubie Blake Center for Cultural Arts in Baltimore, MD.
Please join us for our first fundraiser to keep cultural arts alive in Baltimore and beyond. Cost $20.00
