The Living Well Presents “The Future of Black Love: A Visual Healing Arts Renaissance with Saddi Khali

This Tuesday, August 22nd, from 6 to 9pm the Motor House will be transformed into a haven for exploration, dialogue, and celebration of Black love. This event, titled "The Future of Black Love: A Visual Healing Arts Renaissance with Saddi Khali," promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience that embraces the power of imagery and conversation to co-envision the way for collective healing and liberation.

The Living Well is proud to co-host this event with Saddi Khali, a multi-hyphenate whose journey from writer to producer and visual alchemist has left an undeniable mark on the world. His words and images have graced books, magazines, and exhibitions across the globe. For over a decade, Khali embarked on his "Decolonizing Beauty" project, offering therapeutic portrait sessions that celebrate "empowered vulnerability."

One of the focal points of this event is the Soft, Sensual, and Seen photography tour by Saddi Khali. These images will serve as catalysts for conversations about the future of Black love, sparking discussions that explore different dimensions of love, healing, and community. As attendees immerse themselves in these thought-provoking visuals, they'll also enjoy music by DJ Spirulina Green spinning tunes that harmonize with the atmosphere of intimacy and celebration. The fusion of visual art, music, and collective energy promises an evening of inspiration and transformation.
